In which my nails make the NYT

Hey, thanks to Alex Williams and novelist  Amy Koppelman, my New Year's resolution about not biting my nails (See the photo? I succeeded!!!) made the NYT today!

I tried for five years to stop this habit, biting off expensive salon nails, Lee press-ons, and chewing away the toxic liquid stuff meant to stop the habit.  I finally succeeded two years ago with the help of Fred Max, a hypnotist (and my husband's cousin's husband.) he told me I would always have the craving, but the trick would be to find something I wanted more--like non-monstrous looking nails.

Anyway, here is the story!

Loved the story. I bite my nails too. Unfortunately, I doubt if I'll ever stop. One, I have ugly hands, so longer nails won't look pretty. And two, when they grow out a bit I always seems to gouge myself with them. I'm resigned to sitting on my hands.

Good website! I truly love how it is nice on my eyes it is. I'm wondering how I could be notified when a new post has been made. I've subscribed to your feed which may do the trick? Have a nice day! BPO
